All Dog's go to Heaven ~ A poem for Pet Loss
More of Emmitt Smith Cerkvenik
The next picture is of Emmitt right after he got his hair cut, he looks as if he is saying "I don't like short hair". He doesn't look so happy, I guess nothing to rub around in the grass.
The next picture is of Emmitt adjusting to his hair cut, he is sniffing out the yard ~ maybe looking for his hair hahahaha.
Emmitt is taking a nap on the couch with Sunny. He seems to have taught her well
Emmitt & his sisters, Libby & Sunny ~

Emmitt was so happy to welcome each new sister. He was particulary attached to Libby ~ he was an only dog for 8 years until Libby arrived, how Emmitt doted on her, he fused over her and would be upset if she did anything that was naughty and more often then not, would hide her bad behavior, so cute.
When Sunny arrived Emmitt was perplexed as if to say "don't I have my hands full with Libby", but none the less he was just as loving and happy to have her with him in his family.

Emmitt Smith Cerkvenik
After an amazing brief illness (vesticular) I had the heartbreaking decision to make to put him to rest, he was suffering and I loved him too much for that. I am having the worst time dealing with this and I miss him so much. I truly believe he is running in God's garden. Clark & I were with him to the last second reassuring him that we loved him and he went peacefully, no more spinning.
I loved him so much and I want everyone to know he was the kindest gentlest soul that ever lived and was the best with children. Thank you for letting me write this, he was so wonderful to me that I wanted everyone to know who he was and that he lived and meant something to us. Emmitt Smith Cerkvenik will never be forgotten. God Bless all of you and please hug someone in memory of Emmitt.
