This year. I am sorry to write this but my DEAR LOVING PET OF 13 YEARS, EMMITT SMITH CERKVENIK, my SON ON 4 LEGS passed away this Friday, December 21, 2007.
After an amazing brief illness (vesticular) I had the heartbreaking decision to make to put him to rest, he was suffering and I loved him too much for that. I am having the worst time dealing with this and I miss him so much. I truly believe he is running in God's garden. Clark & I were with him to the last second reassuring him that we loved him and he went peacefully, no more spinning.
I loved him so much and I want everyone to know he was the kindest gentlest soul that ever lived and was the best with children. Thank you for letting me write this, he was so wonderful to me that I wanted everyone to know who he was and that he lived and meant something to us. Emmitt Smith Cerkvenik will never be forgotten. God Bless all of you and please hug someone in memory of Emmitt.

SO sorry you had to leave your mommy. You will have a great time over the rainbow bridge. There are many beloved furbabies to keep you company till your momma can join you. If you happen to met Dudley & Pandora over there, please give them my love. I will try to help your Mom on this side. Again, I am so sorry your momma had to lose you. HUGS from Jo
Dudley & Pandora most graciously are helping Emmitt understand Rainbow Bridge, I'm sure they gave him the in's and out's and are his best friends as I'm sure all other furbabies are all best friends.
I'm sure Emmitt gave Jesus a good "Emmitt" hug ~ he stands up and places his to front paws on his sholders and rested his head on His chest, then stays there for his pets, what a delight that must have been for Jesus to see Emmitt just as exhilerating when He welcomed Dudley & Pandora.
